Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Dream Fury Comics (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit our website, sign up for our newsletter or buy from our store.

We don't sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising and analytics tools from Meta and Google, described below, and you can opt out of them.

Information we collect

• Order information: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and phone number (if you give one), what you bought, and the shipping method you chose. We use it to process, ship and support your order.
• Payment information: card and other payment details are entered directly into forms provided by our payment processor, Stripe. They go to Stripe, not to our servers, and we never see or store your full card number.
• Newsletter: if you sign up, your email address and the date you signed up.
• Messages: your name, email and anything you write when you contact us.
• Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and products you view, the site that referred you, and how you interact with our site. This is collected automatically by our hosting provider and by the advertising and analytics tools described below.

How we use your information

• To process payments, ship your order, send receipts and shipping updates, and handle returns and support.
• To send our newsletter, if you signed up.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To understand how people use our site so we can improve it.
• To measure our ads and show ads for our comics to people who may be interested, on Facebook, Instagram and Google.

Service providers we share information with

We share information only with companies that help us run the store:

• Stripe processes payments, sends payment receipts, screens orders for fraud, and stores our product catalog and newsletter list. Stripe may also offer to save your details through its Link service; that is Stripe's own service and is optional. Some payment methods offered at checkout (for example Cash App Pay, Amazon Pay or Klarna) are run by those companies under their own policies. Stripe's privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
• Vercel hosts our website and keeps short-term technical logs of requests to it. Vercel's privacy policy: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• USPS, through Stamps.com, delivers your order. We give them your name and shipping address to create the shipping label.
• Resend delivers messages you send through our contact form to our inbox. Resend's privacy policy: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• If we send a newsletter through an email service, we give that service the newsletter list for that purpose.

We may also share information when required by law, for example in response to a subpoena, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud.

Advertising and analytics

We use these tools to understand how people use our site and to measure and improve our ads:

• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) records page views, product views, items added to the cart, checkouts started, newsletter signups and purchases, using cookies in your browser.
• Meta Conversions API. When you complete a purchase, our server also sends the purchase to Meta directly, so it can be counted even if your browser blocks the Pixel. It includes the order total, the products, your IP address and browser type, Meta's browser cookie IDs (if present), and your email address, name, city, state, ZIP code and country. Your contact details are converted into scrambled codes (hashed) before they are sent, which Meta uses to match the purchase to a Meta account.
• Google Analytics and Google tags record page views and shopping activity using cookies, so we can see how the site is used and measure Google ads. How Google uses this data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

These companies may combine this information with what they already know about you to measure ads and to show you ads, including ads for our comics on other sites and apps. Under some U.S. state privacy laws this may count as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising.

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The store, cart and checkout still work without advertising cookies.
• Newsletter: to unsubscribe, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or email PrivateInfo@DreamFury.com.
• Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them.

Cookies and browser storage

• Your shopping cart is saved in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers, so it's still there when you come back. Clearing your browser data empties it.
• Stripe sets cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud.
• Meta sets cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and Google sets cookies (such as _ga) for the advertising and analytics described above.

We don't use accounts or passwords on this site.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfill orders, handle returns and meet tax and accounting requirements. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Our hosting provider's technical logs are kept only for a short time.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of having your information used for targeted advertising. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under state law. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

To make a request, email PrivateInfo@DreamFury.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also have an authorized agent contact us for you.

Children

Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

We currently ship only within the United States. Information is processed and stored in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
